Unboxing Review: Muck Boots FIELDBLAZER

The lovely people at Muck Boots have sent me a pair of their new FIELDBLAZER boots for testing and first impressions are they've made some improvements from the older, smellier, pair I've already got. Muck Boots have had Quiet, Warm, and Dry nailed since the first pair they made. Where theses look like an improvement is they've beefed-up the reinforcement for added support around the ankle and protection for your toes, which I thought was pretty much the only way to improve on the concept.
The new soles are a bit better too, horizontal strakes might not look as grippy, but are far better at self-cleaning than most studded patterns.

I paid cash for the last pair and would happily recommend them for woodland stalking, and especially for any kind of hunting where you have to sit in a chilly Highseat/Treestand.

Thanks again guys
SBW

No comments on this post about 'Muck Boots'. I'm not surprised. I was left speechless at the thought of anyone appearing in public wearing a pair of them...

I left a comment abt the Scotish made Buck Boots. 2/3rds the price and british made ...can't be bad!.

Ah it was 'that' Anon

I assumed it was an attempt to gain free advertising. it's pay-to-play on the SBW blog. Freebies for close friends, all trades considered.

Anonymous,

You seem to be missing my point.

I couldn't give a shit whether these boots were being issued free on Croydon High Street. I would not wear anything so pretentious.

Sorry, perhaps my last comment was a bit harsh.

I am sure that if these boots come in teensy weeny sizes the kids would love them when they go on their supervised primary school nature rambles.

How many Anons do you have? LOL
I don't advertise products. I don't accept products for so called "review" purposes either.
I pay no heed to the reviews. Subjectivity being what it is and all that.
Some would call it a form of commercial prostitution. But I'm not that judgemental. It is what it is.

SBW: More than i need

I don't advertise products.
SBW: as you've claimed not to have a blog this dosent surprise me

I don't accept products for so called "review" purposes either.
SBW: Good for you

I pay no heed to the reviews. Subjectivity being what it is and all that.
SBW: Yeah and advertising doesn't work Yawn

Some would call it a form of commercial prostitution. But I'm not that judgemental. It is what it is.

SBW: Once again you've wowed us with your circular logic i.e prostitution = commercial sex, so your stating that the sale of advertising is er.. comercial commercialism?

I bet you would,
We've seen the not-so veiled racism, the tedious claims to expert knowledge, and the antagonism towards other commenters, all of which could perhaps be forgiven if you were in any way witty.

Dude you're all comments no blog AKA All hat and no cattle.

Glad the boots arrived -- must get a set (green) for muddy barns/stables when and if it rains. Which it might not, disturbingly.
