What is going on with you guys? Really WTF is going on? I cant comment on my own blog, other people with blogger accounts email me to tell me they cant comment on my blog, the search bar on the to left of the page is basically a joke, TWENTY posts that begin with the words "I want one" and the search bar can find NONE OF THEM you guys are part of the google empire so 'searching' is a BIG part of what you do, er right? How is it that Blogger works less well than it did FIVE EFFING YEARS AGO?

Sorry, just kidding. I can. Or at least I think I can...
I've been contemplating a switch to Wordpress...a web developer I'm talking to uses it. Maybe time for a "Blog-model".
I had not noticed a problem from the reader/commenter side.
It could be worse, you could hit post on something you spent months working on, a massive investment of time and effort, and have two thirds of it disappear into thin air.

So, maybe if you tell us at the help forum more detail we will be able to figure it out. Are you seeing anything else unusual? Have you tried a different browser to see if something with the browser is causing the problem?

I find the kinks in blogger are variable. Sometimes I can't post comments to blogs I have been commenting on since I joined then mysteriously I can. Occasionally I cannot sign into my own account or can but lose functionality. Or, I sign in, write a post, try and publish it and I am asked to sign in again with all the instructions in Portuguese and when I complete the processs the post is lost and I have to start again or I invariably think Fuck it as I have lost the impetus (much of what I write spills out of an alcoholic haze so once spilt, is gone!) which is why I now compose everything in word first, then cut and paste which reminds me of another problem with blogger, formating text etc. I cannot get captions under photos to centre without ALL the body of the text centreing as well. If I use the spell check function, it buggers the formatting and declares EVERY single word mis spelt.
