A tubby suburban dad watching hunting and adventure shows
on TV and wondering could I do that?
This is the chronicle of my adventures as I learn to learn to Forage,
Hunt and Fish for food that has lived as I would wish to myself -
Wild and Free.
It is a matter of which is the most interesting. I made the outdoors interesting for my boys by taking them back in time to the 18th century. With nothing around to tell which century it was, it was not hard to recreate another time period.Camping becomes more fun when done 18th century style, it has more meaning to it, more skills and crafts to learn.Le Loup.
LLWhen you put it like that!SBW
Nice one, SBW. Just get off that sofa! Cheers.
As a fellow suburbanite, this cartoon reminds me of many of my peers (and myself on occasion). I just stumbled upon your blog, and I just started my own.http://wildsuburbanite.blogspot.com/Looks like we're sorta going for the same thing, but I think I may be a bit younger, and I'm here in what you Brits call "The States."
JonathanThanks for stopping by, commenting, and hopefully joining the conversation. You're blog looks cool - I've got to get the kids to school so I'll have a look laterSBW
