They made us late for school as he climbed up on to the wall to check their ripeness, they made the trip home from school even longer as he'd climb up again to see if one days sunshine had been enough to make a difference. In the end they were ripe and Bushwacker Jnr did get to harvest these plumbs from the suburban bush.
