A tubby suburban dad watching hunting and adventure shows on TV and wondering could I do that? This is the chronicle of my adventures as I learn to learn to Forage, Hunt and Fish for food that has lived as I would wish to myself - Wild and Free.

Paul Merton Meets The Suburban Bushwacker
Do you remember when I went to Scotland during the summer? Finally the embargo is lifted and I can tell you a bit more about the trip. Well, I will tell you a bit more about the trip, but first if you can get UK TV you can see me and Andy on Channel 5 this wednesday at 10pm UK time.
More - oh so much more- soon

Please feel free to leave comments. I really enjoy hearing what readers think. The rules are the same as round my dinner table:
You're welcome to disagree, life would be way too boring if we all agreed with each other and we'd never learn anything.
I like to think that we're all grown up enough to argue every last point, right down to the bone, without bearing a grudge afterwards.
Come on in the waters lovely

I wonder how many years will pass before I finally get to see this in Angola?
ReplyDeleteI am having to comment anonymously because I don't seem to be able to use my google identity when commenting on your blog, I just end up going round in circles, trying to comment, being asked to sign in, returing to your page only to have to start again. Weird.

ReplyDeleteBlogger has really gone down hill lately, SBW

ReplyDeleteSuppressors are a piece of health and safety equipment here, you have to have them listed on your ticket, but you can even have them for a shotgun.
SBW
Get outta here, seriously? I would have thought they would be streng verboten in the People's Democratic Kingdom of Great Britain.
ReplyDeleteEven here in Canuckistan you can't get them. Of course the clueless automatically assume that they are for assassins to ply their trade, but the ability to dampen sound, not piss off neighbours, not scaring away wildlife is what I want them for.
Exploriment
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, in fact they are so accepted that most new riles are sold 'screw cut' for them. what I've never seen advertised is rifles with Muzzle Breaks.

Who'd a thunk it? England - completely ridiculous laws on the one hand - totally enlightened laws on the other.
ReplyDeleteI am stuck on the phrase "trained stunt ducks," and I am afraid that it is all that I shall remember of this post.
