As it always is. You really mustn't go around up setting the management old boy. LOL

Still no worries. Thanks to the www. there are plenty of other places where I can hang my hat, and discuss important things like which is a better deer calibre the 6.5x55 or the .270.

Atb

ClemAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8825273392145948457.post-51060646635890802292017-01-10T09:05:57.877+00:002017-01-10T09:05:57.877+00:00Clem

For a mad keen hunter yet to get the chance to pull the trigger on anything over the size of the humble .22rf and trusty family .410. It was truey a place of wonder. Not just of stuffed animals and such but native weaponary, artifacts and uniforms.
I must have visited the place a dozen times. Sometimes managing 2 visits a summer, much to my long suffering mothers dismay. She hated the place, she said the displays gave her the jitters, but she loved the gardens. So after much pestering, as long as I promised not to break anything, and not to leave the grounds. I would be left to my own devices to plod around the place, sticking my nose and hands where ever I could get away with.
Malcolm Harman one of the owners of the Deer Stalking forum. Who I am sure you have encountered. Was the places curator for many years. I believe he left a few years ago in order to develope his deer guideing business.

A happy and peacefull 2017.

Clem Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
