The blade is 7" long and made from O1 tool steel which is sharp but rusts if exposed to moisture. I like it a LOT! I've got a lot of...Who only carries one knife?<br /><br />I've got a lot of knives and a number of favorites, some I made, some made for me, some store bought.<br /><br />Depends on context of the outing, but I've generally got two with me.<br /><br />Best all-arounder I have is a <a href="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3259/2838226129_122b969f57.jpg?v=0" rel="nofollow">4.5" drop point</a> made for me as a gift by a pal in Alabama. Cleaned everything from alligators to zebras with it and rather a few fish. Stabilized ash burl scales and Oryx sheath, if it matters. That's the one that always always always goes hunting with me since he gifted it to me.
