Its All About The 6.5mm

While there's no cheap-to-keep like a .308, I've always been of the church of 6.5mm, a prejudice that's been comfortingly confirmed many times.

Here's an article from The Hand Loading Bench written by accuracy legend Laurie Holland for the excellent Targetshooter.co.uk magazine.

6.5MM CARTRIDGES: AN OVERVIEW (PART 1)

Hope you find them as interesting as I did

  1. Are we forgetting the 7mm so soon?
You still have to take something with the .280/30 and you have bagged reds and Roe with 7x57. Its like a 6.5 but better!

Please feel free to leave comments. I really enjoy hearing what readers think. The rules are the same as round my dinner table:

You're welcome to disagree, life would be way too boring if we all agreed with each other and we'd never learn anything.
I like to think that we're all grown up enough to argue every last point, right down to the bone, without bearing a grudge afterwards.

Come on in the waters lovely
