very nice way to do it too, HunterX and I are also hoping to fish a freezer full of Mackerel this season. Based on past performance I suspect we'll be sharing one solitary mackerel but it'll be fun trying

  6. I will check with Mr FM and the T lady, I was thinking of inviting Paul up to make it a full house.
I need to pick a week before the season closes but after the start of Jan. Don't want to leave it too late or the weather will be grim and the deer scarce.

While you're checking please enquire as to cost of shooting a big red wallhanger, I'll start saving!

  8. Simples........You'll find if you take it out of the sack the freezer lid will close as it should.

  9. It will probably make life easier, come dinner time, if you unpack the duffel before hard freeze sets in.

    Your call, of course.

Congrats on a full freezer. Mine is finally starting to show signs of receding... and less than a month to go before whitetail season begins again in earnest.

Please feel free to leave comments. I really enjoy hearing what readers think. The rules are the same as round my dinner table:

You're welcome to disagree, life would be way too boring if we all agreed with each other and we'd never learn anything.
I like to think that we're all grown up enough to argue every last point, right down to the bone, without bearing a grudge afterwards.

Come on in the waters lovely
