FIshing In Hastings - Round One

A while back I said that between blogposts here I was planning to try my hand at a spot of travel writing and indeed actually submitting some work. Well I did, writing up the story of one of my fishing adventures with Jonah in the picturesque seaside town of Hastings.
You can read it HERE at the excellent Sabotage Times.

  1. Just read it. Awesome! Congratulations. I really enjoyed it. I've always preferred honest, gritty travelogue wrapped in a sporting pursuit to the sanitized pap that passes for features in the hook-and-bullet mags.

    Keep it up, man. Seriously.

Thanks man, your continued encouragement means a lot to me. I've submitted a second piece as i'm hoping to make it a series. The next one is a little 'closer to the bone' as adventures with the BLF often turn out to be.

Please feel free to leave comments. I really enjoy hearing what readers think. The rules are the same as round my dinner table:

You're welcome to disagree, life would be way too boring if we all agreed with each other and we'd never learn anything.
I like to think that we're all grown up enough to argue every last point, right down to the bone, without bearing a grudge afterwards.

Come on in the waters lovely
