A tubby suburban dad watching hunting and adventure shows on TV and wondering could I do that? This is the chronicle of my adventures as I learn to learn to Forage, Hunt and Fish for food that has lived as I would wish to myself - Wild and Free.

Please feel free to leave comments. I really enjoy hearing what readers think. The rules are the same as round my dinner table:
You're welcome to disagree, life would be way too boring if we all agreed with each other and we'd never learn anything.
I like to think that we're all grown up enough to argue every last point, right down to the bone, without bearing a grudge afterwards.
Come on in the waters lovely

What a beautiful double!
ReplyDeleteYou are truly a lucky guy to get to swing that in the field. I've always dreamed of shooting a really nice double.

ReplyDeleteIt's lovely, and belgian, and un named so surprisingly affordable. The workmanship is really pretty good, and as Longsword pointed out you'd hardly put all that engraving effort into something second rate, so it's most likely a Browning.

Very nice gun!
ReplyDeleteHey Trey
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it, more scottish adventures to come
SBW
Nice -- I want one as an alternative to my yobbish Mossberg pump.
ReplyDeleteMind you, precious few birds at the moment because of drought.
Cheers.

ReplyDeleteWent to the clay set up at The Midland yesterday, I noticed two things
1. that 20 really didn't fit at all
2. Real Pigeons are a lot harder to hit than clay ones
SBW
For sure. I like clays though, endless hours of fun.
