The Elusive Obvious Pt2

"It's the incidental moving around, walking around, standing up and utilizing muscles."

Even good aerobic exercise can be useless in the face of hours of sitting.

What was I saying about modern life?

  1. It is a matter of which is the most interesting. I made the outdoors interesting for my boys by taking them back in time to the 18th century. With nothing around to tell which century it was, it was not hard to recreate another time period.
Camping becomes more fun when done 18th century style, it has more meaning to it, more skills and crafts to learn.

  3. As a fellow suburbanite, this cartoon reminds me of many of my peers (and myself on occasion).

I just stumbled upon your blog, and I just started my own.

Looks like we're sorta going for the same thing, but I think I may be a bit younger, and I'm here in what you Brits call "The States."

Please feel free to leave comments. I really enjoy hearing what readers think. The rules are the same as round my dinner table:

You're welcome to disagree, life would be way too boring if we all agreed with each other and we'd never learn anything.
I like to think that we're all grown up enough to argue every last point, right down to the bone, without bearing a grudge afterwards.

Come on in the waters lovely
