Come In Mrs BoB - Your Audience Awaits

Exiting news from the south island. Mrs BoB will be writing a guest post in which she'll interview her brother, Outdoorsman, Wildfowler, Pig Hunter, and Spear Fisherman. I've met the man in question, but before he started hunting. So I'm really looking forward to hearing all about how he got started, what the bars to entry are in NZ, how firearms licenses work there, what he's bagged. Of course it wouldn't be The Suburban Bushwacker if we didn't learn what gear he uses and what gear he would use if money were no object. I can't wait.

If you're curious too, please leave comments telling Mrs BoB

A: how much you want to hear what she has to say
B: To get on with it!

  3. Dear all,
As I am currently vomiting my guts out 24/7 (not exaggerating here folks) acting as human incubator for SBW's next niece/nephew, life has taken on a treacle-like consistency. I will try and put together something soon that resembles comprehensible English but don't leave the pot on the boil in anticipation. BoB jumped the gun a bit on this (first time for everything I guess) and of course in his enthusiasm didn't actually tell me that the deal was done, so to speak. Thanks for your patience all. Hope the North is treating you kindly SBW.
    Kia Ora,

PS Went pig hunting myself over Xmas didn't shoot anything but had a lot of fun doing what can only be described as the' tai chi' of tramping.

Please feel free to leave comments. I really enjoy hearing what readers think. The rules are the same as round my dinner table:

You're welcome to disagree, life would be way too boring if we all agreed with each other and we'd never learn anything.
I like to think that we're all grown up enough to argue every last point, right down to the bone, without bearing a grudge afterwards.

Come on in the waters lovely
