A tubby suburban dad watching hunting and adventure shows on TV and wondering could I do that? This is the chronicle of my adventures as I learn to learn to Forage, Hunt and Fish for food that has lived as I would wish to myself - Wild and Free.

Now That's A Truck
As Mr Toad says in Toad Of Toad Hall
Rolling down the dusty highway
A-rolling down the Rolling Downs
Any way of yours is my way
As long as we go out of town
Every day the sun is rising
On a brand new episode
Here today and gone tomorrow
That’s the Life on the Open Road
Sigh
a boy can dream................

Please feel free to leave comments. I really enjoy hearing what readers think. The rules are the same as round my dinner table:
You're welcome to disagree, life would be way too boring if we all agreed with each other and we'd never learn anything.
I like to think that we're all grown up enough to argue every last point, right down to the bone, without bearing a grudge afterwards.
Come on in the waters lovely

Now that is a serious truck!
ReplyDeleteI am a newcomer to your blog, but since you look forward to hunting elk -- which I assume you mean in the North American and not the Scandinavian sense -- have you thought of joining the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation?
A fine conservation organization with an excellent magazine.
If you have already done so, forgive my intrusion.

The RMEF site looks interesting, thanks for the tip.
I've visited your blog a couple of times found it to be first rate and will be adding it to my blog roll.
Have a good weekend
